Automatically check for ads every XX seconds
LAUNCHcast AdMute is my attempt to automate the process of turning down the volume during commercials and back up again after the commercial is over. Once an ad is detected, the volume is automatically muted. After a new song begins the volume is restored. You can set how often AutoMute scans for ads in seconds. The default setting is 3 seconds.
Automatically start LAUNCHcast when opening AdMute
As you can probably guess, enabling this feature will automatically open LAUNCHcast when AdMute is opened. If LAUNCHcast is already open, nothing will happen. You can also start LAUNCHcast by right clicking the AdMute system tray icon and clicking Start LAUNCHcast.
Minimize to the System Tray
The AdMute icon resides in the system tray rather than taking up space on the task bar. The current status of AdMute will show up when you hover your mouse of the System Tray icon. When you minimize AdMute you can restore the options window by double clicking the icon. You can also access a few options by right clicking the System Tray icon.
